Please help me in writting a thank you note for flowers that were sent to us in congratualations of our baby.?
Find a card in Hallmark and say thank-you for the flowers!!
Reply:Dear Friend%26#039;s Name,

We love the beautiful flowers. They smell wonderful and brighten the room. Even Baby Max seems to appreciate them!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful gift!
Reply:Say thank you so very much for the flowers you sent us me and ------ really appreciate them and then give a little information about the baby like how he or she is doing. this will make the sender of the flowers feel included in the babies life then end by saying sorry for keeping this short but the baby is crying and you need to run. but make sure you to tell them that they should come see the baby whenever they want this will make them happy :)
Reply:i would write: thank u very much for the flowers ,they r gorgeous,thank u again,come visit the baby soon

Reply:I use Google for finding my patterns. Go to www.google.com and type %26quot;crochet pattern baby afghan%26quot; into the search box that comes up, and hit Enter. You%26#039;ll get tons to look at. If you prefer a free pattern, and the word %26quot;free%26quot; after %26quot;afghan.%26quot; I%26#039;ve found a lot of fun patterns this way.

If you%26#039;re looking for a good pattern source, Annie%26#039;s Attic has a lovely catalog of such thing. Mary Maxim is good too. These are paid patterns, of course.

What is the name of a vine with orange flowers and something that looks like a red sugar baby?

The %26quot;red sugar baby%26quot;...like a seed pod? An orange flowering vine that%26#039;s really common in the US is campsis (trumpet vine). The flowers are a very bright shade and are 2 to 3 inches long and trumpet shaped. The vine has oblong, pointed leaves along stems like a walnut tree%26#039;s leaf structure. The vine is extremely hardy and invasive. It also can cause skin irritation, similar to that caused by poison ivy, in sensitive individuals.

I think you may be talking about Oriental Bittersweet, an invasive vine. The problem, from Rhode Island Wild Plant Society (and any ecologist!), is:

%26quot;Birds and people who compost or collect the fruits for dried arrangements have enhanced its escape from cultivation. Once established in edge habitats and shrub lands Oriental Bittersweet can aggressively out compete native vegetation for space, water, and nutrients. It shades out native vegetation, and its twining action can also constrict tree stems, impeding sap flow and increasing vulnerability to wind damage. This species is particularly abundant in the coastal zone where it is a dominant plant on many islands in Narragansett Bay and Block Island. %26quot;

What you are describing, by the way, though it looks like a flower, is actually the seed. The second link, to the Nature Conservancy, has a great photo. It also warns:

%26quot;Oriental bittersweet is on the Class C list of noxious weeds in North Carolina and it is illegal to sell or distribute it as a living plant, or as a decorative one. If you see violations of this law, alert the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (919-733-3610 x246).%26quot;

Might want to keep this in mind!
Reply:I would take one of the pods and flower to your local nursery and ask them. They love giving answers to this type of thing plus they can tell you how to keep it in check so it doesn%26#039;t take over everything in the garden or where ever it is. thats what they get paid to do...........good luck
Reply:I think yazmin has the right answer. greenhouse grunt was close but didn%26#039;t pay attention to all the details you listed. Eradicate that invasive plant and do it quickly. CLip it and burn it to prevent seeds from getting away. Herbicide drench the root zone.
Reply:More info would be helpful. Type of flower shape, leaves also
Reply:sounds a little like what we call %26quot;Cow Itch%26quot; in the south.
Reply:Sounds like %26quot;hearts abustin%26quot;. A weedy plant.

Baby flower bou?

Does anyone know how to make those baby flower bouquets out of washcloths and baby sock. I would like to make one for my best friends baby shower this weekend

Baby flower bou?
You just roll the socks from the toe to the ankle. Then you fold the open end at the ankle over to hold it in place. May take a few times to make them look like flowers, but it%26#039;s not that hard. My aunt did it for me, and had them in a bowl-type dish, so there weren%26#039;t any stems or anything. If this isn%26#039;t it, sorry, I don%26#039;t really know what else you%26#039;re talking about.
